Cathode Ray Tube VR
A downloadable app for Windows
Play videos on a glitchy tv in a rainy attic. Supports currently h.264 format.
- Trigger/Interact - Replay Intro Video
- Grip button - Open videos folder
- Joypad right/left - Next/Previous video
- H.264 supported. Other formats might not work. Works best on videos that are downloaded from streaming services using a downloader.
This has proven to be the best method to get movies:

Is there a plan to make an Oculus Quest Release
I initially planned it, but the biggest problem I encountered was essentially file handling, as this works on local files and folders.
Apps like Bigscreen and the likes use streaming from a PC over wireless, and I did consider using this sort of QR code style transfer of video streaming link (as the Quest has a camera, so it can have a QR reader as well), but I encountered more and more tech overhead the more I dug into it and it would have drastically changed the scope of this project.
